I always mean to draw something for Illustration Friday but I never get beyond sketching a few ideas! This week I checked the topic and it fits with something I drew just yesterday! Horah!
Natalie Tyler, or Natalie 1, urged me to submit something to the T-shirt Revolution “Inspired by Facial Hair” challenge so I whipped this up in a few hours. I used new paper too, a Canson illustration paper, which was very nice. I found that my copics did bleed a bit, which was disappointing, but my microns behaved beautifully on it.
Really cool design and it reminds me of the circus’s bearded lady! :)

Cool style and lovely patterns!
This reminds of the 70’s style art. Great job!
I love a bearded lady! I’ve done another drawing of Wilgefortis, another mythical (?) bearded lady!
Oh I love 70s storybook art, especially Marcel Marlier!
Thank you!
Hi Natalie… your work inspired me somewhat to help design a logo for my Student Organization. I wanted your permission to use it and possible recommendations you might have for it! Please email me as soon as possible!
Thanks,
Saar
