New drawings about gems and myself.

Watercolour and ink illustration of a fat brown-skinned babe wearing gems all over her top half and red bow suspended stockings. Crystals in puddles of pink frosting are on the ground while aqua bubbles float in the air as she makes a bubble.

I don’t have many words about these, I guess that’s why I draw pictures!

  1. You art often floors me.

I can’t stop staring at the shared eye in the bottom one. That feels very … important.

  2. I love every single one of these. They’re wonderful. You have a very honest way of portraying yourself and the female figure. I love them.

  3. Dear Natalie,

I am bad at the internet and therefore can’t figure out the best way to contact you. I will now proceed to comment repeatedy and shamelessly.

You are my very favorite artist and also provide some of the most thoughtful musings on body politics. Your blog was the catalyst for my dive into self-acceptance. Your openness has made you personal hero of mine for about 5 years now. I don’t usually like a person and their art at the same time. This is either because I am an asshole or have terrible taste in people. It is likely the first option because clearly you are a badass.

I was wondering what you would think of someone getting tattooed with one of your designs? I love all the stuff you do with ink, and your ribbon lettering makes my insides happy. Please let me know!

  4. Hey, I wondered whether it is possible to order any of the products you make? I’d love one of your brooches, but I can’t seem to open the SHOP page. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I would be ordering from Europe? Thanks, Vesna
